Join the Waynesburg-Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company for Christmas on High Street — a festive celebration in historic downtown Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 3 to 8pm.
Formerly known as the Holiday Open House, this beloved event kicks off the holiday season on Small Business Saturday with an afternoon full of cheer, including wagon rides, live music, a traditional tree lighting ceremony, and a dazzling fireworks display.

Holiday Market
As part of the festivities, the Holiday Market will be set up outdoors along Washington Street. A limited number of vendor spaces are available for artisans, crafters, bakers, food vendors, and other small businesses. Set-up will take place from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, and the event will go on rain or shine.

Holiday Window Decorating Contest
Help us light up Downtown Waynesburg for the holidays! We are holding a Window Decorating Contest for businesses and organizations in Downtown Waynesburg. It is easy to participate and there is no cost. Just give us your information so you are on the list to be judged!
Judging Date: Dust off your decorations and get ready! Decorations need to be installed and ready for viewing at dusk on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Photos will be taken and uploaded for Facebook voting, and judges will be making their rounds to select winners for the other categories.
2025 Categories: Community Choice (chosen by the public through Facebook); Best Overall Display; Best Light Display; Innovative Use of Space
Judging Criteria: Overall Creativity; Use and Placement of Lights; Holiday Theme; Overall Presentation and “Wow-Factor”
Registration Deadline: Noon on Monday, November 24 by emailing [email protected] or. calling Greene County Tourism at 724-627-8687. Registration should include the business/organization name, address, contact person, and name of window display (if applicable). Applicants do have the option to submit their own night photo for the Community Choice competition or the judges will take photos on Monday evening during judging.
Awards: Winners will be announced on Saturday, November 29th during the event.
